Although biofeedback has gone through its days of ups and downs, in today's society of alternative medicine, we are seeing biofeedback becoming more and more popular. If you unfamiliar with biofeedback, basically, is a technique in which you are trained to treat yourself based on watching the signals your body is giving off. Some of these signals would be by monitoring blood pressure, blood sugar, your temperature, and your weight, as an example. You can purchase a biofeedback machine or biofeedback equipment and it can act as your "extra set of eyes" on your health. If you are looking to take more control over your health and not be left to the mercy of your doctor's guess or pushing pills on you, you may consider this option. |
